The Theme for the year is ".OAO Framing YOU For Success.". Discover the rich history of the OAO through a showcase of frames from decades past and immerse yourself in one-off a one-off-a-kind workshop experience that celebrates the art and craft of our profession. We welcome all attendees to bring vintage frames to the event to showcase.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND - Apprentices, Office staff, students, and anyone wanting to increase their knowledge and skills.

The topics were chosen to increase your understanding and skill level in basic optics and boost your confidence as an apprentice optician.
This workshop includes eye anatomy, transposition (plus & minus), optical cross, basic prism, lensometer (plus/minus cal.), vertical imbalance, decentration, troubleshooting glasses, repairs, and measurements.
The workshop provides all attendees with tool kits, lensometers, and head mannequins for personalizing adjustments.
