Licensed Optician - Prior Optical Experience -Part Time

We are an independently owned Eyecare practice seeking a part-time Optician who is responsible and friendly. Primary duties include selling eyewear to patients, ordering glasses with and without insurance, and dispensing and adjusting eyewear. Secondary responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, pre-testing, and verifying insurance. Prior Optical experience is preferred. If the applicant is not licensed, we would like to help the individual with his or her skills to obtain their state optical license. Wages are based on experience. After the initial trial period, we offer paid vacation/holidays and Simple IRA.
