Optician - Fulltime
Miami Vallley Vision Care
Position is in private optometric office currently a single doctor practice.
- Assist with fitting, styling, and purchase of glasses, and contacts.
- Should be familiar with lens types, lens coatings, EHR program ordering, and insurance coverages.
- Potential help in Pre-testing of patients which involves the use of various computerized instruments, use of electronic medical records and preparation for doctor.
- Dispensing of prescription of eyewear.
- Occasional front desk reception work and vacation coverage.
A license is not required, but experience in optical. Previous optometric/ophthalmic experience experience (pretesting technician, certified paraoptometric, certified ophthalmic assistant, licensed opticians)
Salary $15.00-$20.00
